Hello,

I'm Ross Montsinger, and my favorite thing to do is play the drums, which is what I've done professionally since 2007 with acts like Scott McMicken & THE EVER-EXPANDING, Holy Ghost Tent Revival, MOVES, Dulci Ellenberger, Fwuit, Hannah Kaminer, Tina & Her Pony, The Moon & You, Off Book Podcast, Midnight Pony, The Secret B-Sides, Daniel Shearin, Lyle Devitry, Billy Keane, The Astroband, Ryan Furstenberg, Ryan Taylor Price, Alice Bradley, Lucy Werner, Lilie Syracuse, Nick Poulin, For the Birds, Sweet Claudette, Cowboy Judy and possibly more?
     I've lived within North Carolina along interstate Forty my whole life: born in Wilmington and moved to Durham, where I fell in love with competitive marching band and drumcorps. I then majored in percussion at Greensboro College, which is also where we started the band Holy Ghost Tent Revival. After several years of touring, we individually relocated to Asheville, a musical vortex where I shifted from playing in just one band to collaborating with a great many. Other hobbies include writing, electrical engineering, mechanical keyboards, coding and journal making.

Fun fact: In the movie Bull Durham, the Durham Bulls face teams from all the same cities I've lived in — and in the same order!
